			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well I finally got around to creating an avatar for the various social networking gubbins that I have signed up to recently.<br />
My idea was to mimic a classic &#8216;I am 7&#8242; (or whatever age) badge that you typically get on the front of birthday cards. Instead of the age mine would say &#8216;I am VM&#8217;.</p>
<p>I knew the best place to create it would be Illustrator so I had a look for some tutorials on line and after a bit of searching I found <a href="http://veerle.duoh.com/blog/comments/creating_pins_in_illustrator/">this one</a> that was just about perfect.<br />
As I searched through I saved any other interesting tutorials on my bookmarking profiles &#8211; <a href="http://delicious.com/vincemmm">delicious</a> and <a href="http://vincemmm.stumbleupon.com/public/">Stumbleupon</a>.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s come out more or less as I would have wanted and the next step is to make a version that I can use as a favicon for this site (a good little tutorial on creating a favicon in Photoshop <a href="http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/jennifer/favicon.html">here</a>).</p>
